error while opening eclipse

When i open it, it says: an error has occurred, see ...\workspace\.metadata\.log

I got message “Caused by: org.eclipse.core.internal.dtree.ObjectNotFoundException: Tree element 'xxxx.class' not found.”

solution:
Delete the file .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.snap
