How to pull git from other local repository

git remote add repo_name_to_yourlocal //hostname/sharedfoldername

git pull repo_name_to_yourlocal master

I tried use file://hostname/sharedfoldername, it seems not working correctly.

I still can not find the solution. So I summary all the things and tell my boss about it. If any one knows the solution, please let me know.
